Qatar posted its widest quarterly budget deficit in almost a decade at 21.2 billion riyals ($5.8 billion) in Q2, as the US-Iran war shut the Strait of Hormuz and LNG exports collapsed. Non-energy revenue rose nearly five-fold, but overall revenue fell about 30%.
