分析师预计，东京证交所 Topix 指数大改将使逾 600 家公司、即超过三分之一成分股，因自由流通市值排名垫底而在两年内被逐步剔除。调整或引发小型企业回购股票、提高分红等保留指数资格的行动。
Analysts estimate that more than 600 companies, or over a third of Topix constituents, could be phased out under the index’s biggest overhaul. Smaller firms near the cutoff may respond with buybacks, higher dividends and other efforts to improve their market value.
