比利时副首相兼外长普雷沃特表示，受国家预算压力影响，比利时到 2035 年实现北约将军费提高至 GDP 5% 的目标并不现实。不过，比利时仍将继续增加防务支出，维持其在北约中的可靠伙伴角色。
