欧盟议会贸易委员会主席贝恩德·朗格表示，欧盟与美国贸易协议的立法工作已取得进展，但在保障机制和评估条款等方面仍需进一步协商，双方将于 5 月 19 日再次会晤。
EU trade committee chair Bernd Lange stated that while progress has been made on legislation for the EU-U.S. trade deal, further work is needed on safeguard mechanisms and review provisions. Negotiators will meet again on May 19 to continue talks.
